Danny Stites

Chairman

Danny has been with Living Alternatives since 2007, joining the board in 2016. Danny brings a wealth of knowledge from his years of work in every area of the banking sector. He is currently a Mortgage Lender at Midland States Bank in Champaign. Danny and his wife Lauren, are the proud parents of four children, and worship together at Windsor Road Christian Church in Champaign, IL.

Rev. Kim Ernst

Kim is the pastor of Faith Fellowship Ministries in Fairbury, Illinois and has been a friend of this ministry since it began in 1985.

Todd Haynes

Todd returned to the Board in 2019 after previously serving from 2008 to 2014. He has served as a banking attorney for State Farm since 1996. Todd’s wife, Laurie, is the Director of Deeper Still of Central IL and is a volunteer nurse at our Bloomington-Normal location. They are members of East White Oak Bible Church, where Todd has served on the elder/deacon board. Todd and Laurie have two adult children, a son-in-law, daughter-in-law and one adorable grandson, Jack.

Ruth Hild

Secretary

Ruth joined the board in 2017 after retiring from Rachel House Pregnancy Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Prior to working at Rachel House, Ruth worked 37 years for Stonecroft Ministries serving in many administrative positions, including COO. Ruth returned to Pekin, Illinois when she retired in 2016 to be near family. She attends Pekin First Nazarene Church.

Sherry Sherwood

CEO

Sherry has worked for Living Alternatives since 2004 and has served as the Chief Executive Officer since 2009. The mother of three daughters, Sherry and her husband, Scott, are members of First Church of the Nazarene in Pekin, IL.

Pam Peoples

Pam is one of WBGL’s on-air personalities and can be heard during the evenings. She and her husband are blessed with five sons, and they are loving the addition of granddaughters into their family.

David Bangs

David’s Catholic faith has led him to be involved in many facets of prolife work: sidewalk counseling, abortion pill reversal, post-abortion recovery, a mobile medical clinic and the local Right to Life organization. David cares deeply about women facing pregnancy decisions and represents our Indiana services.
