Organizational Statements
In light of recent accusations against pregnancy help organizations, Living Alternatives is issuing this statement:
We are committed to providing excellent care, compassionate support and honest information to those facing pregnancy decisions through authentic relationships that display grace, honor life and foster community. As an organization that embraces integrity, we do not condone, approve of or excuse the actions of those who use deception, false advertising, or manipulation to mislead women — whether that individual or organization stands for or against abortion. We believe women deserve to be treated with respect and compassion, giving her the time and space to make her decision without pressure or coercion. Since 1985, we have stood on the principles of both truth and love, and we are committed to continuing to offer women our best in the years to come — excellent medical care by licensed medical professionals, patient confidentiality, and generosity with our program support regardless of her pregnancy decision.
Statement of Faith

Statement of Principle
Living Alternatives is an outreach ministry of Jesus Christ through His Church. Therefore, Living Alternatives, embodied in its staff and volunteers, is committed to presenting the gospel of our Lord to those facing pregnancy decisions — both in word and in deed. Commensurate with this purpose, those who labor as Living Alternatives board members, staff and volunteers are expected to know Christ as their Savior and Lord.
Living Alternatives is committed to providing its clients/patients with accurate and honest information about all three options — parenting, adoption and abortion. All medical services are performed by licensed medical personnel under the supervision and standing orders of the current Medical Director(s). All medical information is provided under the direction and supervision of the Medical Director(s).
Living Alternatives is committed to integrity in dealing with clients, earning their trust and providing promised information and services. Living Alternatives denounces and forbids any form of deception in its corporate advertising or individual conversations with its client.
Living Alternatives is committed to assisting women to carry to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance. Through the provision of God’s people and the community at large, women may face the future with hope, and plan constructively for themselves and their babies.
Living Alternatives does not discriminate in providing services because of race, color, national origin, religion, age, disability or marital status of its clients.
Living Alternatives is committed to providing a safe place that will not profit from the choices a woman makes. Therefore, Living Alternatives does not recommend, provide or refer for abortion or abortifacients or birth control/contraception. In cases when a woman’s life is at risk, Living Alternatives will refer the patient back to her physician.
Living Alternatives offers assistance free of charge at all times.
Living Alternatives is committed to creating awareness within the local community of the needs of pregnant women, and of the fact that abortion only compounds human need rather than resolving it.
Living Alternatives does not recommend, provide or refer single women for contraceptives. (Married women seeking contraceptive information are urged to make informed decisions regarding this matter.)
Living Alternatives recognizes the validity of adoption as one alternative to abortion, but is not biased toward adoption when compared to the other life-saving alternatives. Living Alternatives is independent of adoption agencies, relating to them in the same manner as to other helpful referral sources. Living Alternatives receives no payment of any kind from these agencies, does not enter into contractual relationships with them, and does not share combined office space. Adoption agencies are not established under the auspices of Living Alternatives.
Living Alternatives does not coerce or badger any woman into making any type of decision about her pregnancy or baby. We present the truth and it is up to the woman to make any decision concerning the outcome of the pregnancy.
