Frequently Asked Questions

What is the WALK?

The WALK is our annual spring fundraiser where participants raise funds and walk 2 miles in support of the Pregnancy Resource Center

What the WALK is not.

The WALK is not a rally, protest, or political statement. No protest or political signage will be permitted.

How does the WALK work?

We ask individuals, families, or teams to sign up to be a walker. They then raise support by asking friends and family to sponsor them. At some point, either independently or at the WALK Celebration, the walker will walk 2 miles.

Is there a registration fee?

No, there is no registration fee but we do ask that walkers raise a minimum of support. Please see the event page for more details.

Can I sign up the day of the event?

Yes, but it is not recommended. In order to participate, you will still need to raise support or make a donation in the amount of the minimum support required. You may not be eligible for all the incentives as many items are based on registration date.

How do I raise support?

Simply ask friends and family to sponsor you as you will be doing a 2-mile walk in support of the Pregnancy Resource Center.

What does the Pregnancy Resource Center do?

The Pregnancy Resource Center is a free medical clinic that provides pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STI testing, parenting education, and resource assistance to those who are pregnant.

Are you pro-life or pro-choice?

The Pregnancy Resource Center is pro-women. We value all life and we seek to speak truth and grace into all who enter our doors, but we do not coerce or badger any client into a decision. We are committed to providing excellent care, compassionate support, and honest information to those facing pregnancy decisions through authentic relationships that display grace, honor life, and foster community.
